MAMMOTH CAVE: A WAY TO WONDER (feature documentary)
Auditorium, Mass Media & Technology Hall, 7:00 pm
Mammoth Cave: A Way to Wonder is an Emmy Award-winning documentary about the untold stories of Mammoth Cave National Park. They are the tales of exploration and discovery beginning with pre-historic Native Americans ten thousands years ago, to the ongoing explorations by scientists today. WKYUPBS was given unprecedented access to parts of the cave and park that few see.
Production crews traveled to the park 40 times over 13 months to shoot above and below ground. The program aired as a complementary piece to the six-episode Ken Burns film, The National Parks: America's Best Idea. Travel with us into Mammoth Cave National Park and discover why it is truly A Way to Wonder.
60 min. / NR
The screening will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
